Ok i'm rather new here and i would like to know how to get these points

posting and commenting , rating etc doesnt get my points level up so i was wondering how to do it


i would also like to learn how to do skinning and it would be l33t if someone could point me in the right direction

Points for threads, skins, maps, thumbs up, assessments and basically any releases etc.

Release things, such as maps, skins, tutorials, gui's, anything on the above links box (very top). You also get points for completing requests for people. There are always contests going on which pay thousands of points. Contests such as creating sets.

Go here for skinning tutorials.

And I get my points by making sets and uberstyles for people. Look for contests, there's usually big point prize.

I get my points by making GUIs for cs and hl. Just make sure you don't double post threads or copy GUIs from others.

Okay. i'm new-ish here, so i dont know: what do you do with your points? how do i spend them? i've gathered quite a bit sonce i joined on friday, so i was wondering.... and can uberstyling only be done by ripe members?
As much as rappers rap about their childhoods being crappy, you'd think they were all Naruto characters.

With 100 points you can't do too much. You need a whole lot more to get things like that. In any case, don't just go out and spend. Gateher a lot of points so you can get nice and shiny medals ^.^

Doing things for people can earn you a lot of points. Releasing things will also get you a good amount of points, as long as what you produce is good quality! So I'd just say, practice your designing skills, brush up on your html and submit some stuff!

Making sets for people and selling ripe is the best way tho. You just need an admin to help with the trade.
