Hey guys, I wanted to try to make gloves for CS:S.

You might try sharpening the texture a little bit, you could add a little bit of dirt to them as well. I have found that some grunge brushes work well for giving dirt effects. You could also try to make the creases and wrinkles just a little more defined so that you can tell they are there. You could also try to use a custom arm and finger texture as well, though you don't necessarily have to. I think that once you add bumpmaps to these then they should look much better. The result should be good, very simple-looking, but good nonetheless.
