CS1.6 Wordings Problem

Hey guys i have this weird problem in cs1.6 after i have just installed cs1.6.. when i go to the startup page in cs1.6 i see this http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m200/pureeugene/cserror.jpg then when i roughly click on the start game the select terror or counter are all screwed up(words) then when i press b all the weapon names are all affected.. can some1 please help me solve this problem P.S. i have reinstalled it and it still have the same problem

Probably it's in D3D Video options... try to change it (open CS and go to Options -> Video -> and change 3D3 to OpenGL...) Well... when I got this, I did that, and solved... If u cant find the "Video" option 'coz the words are strange, it's the 4th option in "Options" i think... Well, if that doesn't solve, idk what to do... i hope u could understand me.. peace

Hmm.. Try opening the console and typing "GameUI_GameMenu_Options" It should bring up the console. I'll drill deep into my cs file I know there is somewhere that the settings are loaded in. I just need to find that file.

I changed to d3d and it worked when opengl it failed
