Vegas Help Need some help.

I dont know what Happened but my vegas is messed up. When I watch a movie/video/FRAPS RECORDONG....from the folder that fraps saves in it plays fine and there is audio. But when I open the video in vegas there is no sound. I tried random videos I have from non fraps locations and the same thing, There is no sound. It worked the other day and now it doesnt, Anyone have this problem. 1. Everything is up to date. 2. Tried Re-Install already.

I'm sorry I don't know much about this program because I barely use it but I do have it. I would try and call sony media tech support or emailing them.

Thats the same for me but when i open it it only does audio and no picture lol

OK UPDATE... this is not a fix but more like a back door. Depending on the complexity of your video this might not work for you. Download THIS and open your video. Then under file save WAV...that will make just an audio track of your vid. Open your vid in vegas...then open your Wav you just made. Depending on how your video is layed out there might be some minimal syncing involved, but I have done this with two seperate ones now to test and it has not been a problem. If you try this and need more help just let me kmow. Also, If I find a way for vegas to open files properly I will post here.
