Gimp tarnsparent sprays for css

Ok, so ive made a ton of transparent sprays, but every time i save em to use em in game in cs:s, all transparent parts come up as white, so what format should i save my sprays as to get the trnsparancy right in css??? HELP ME!!!!!

Easiest is .TGA (Targa). Otherwise, use VTF Edit to save it as an actual spray texture file.

I use vtf edit to keep them transparent. Do you put them in the logos folder?

Also you can save it as .png (not sure what it stands for). Also when saving as .png you get a popup asking if you want it interlaced or non. Choose none.

I had this problem with fireworks mx it give you an option for the canvas transparent default or custom color but the transparency never worked always came out white and a buddy of mine fixed it and i think he said the alpha wasn't right :S

Haha yea but its also an older ripped version so im sure they have updated it but i dont feel like buying it again lol
