This is just amazing tbh. if you wanna flame GTFO

Strongest Dad in the World [From Sports Illustrated, By Rick Reilly] Eighty-five times he's pushed his disabled son, Rick, 26.2 miles in marathons. Eight times he's not only pushed him 26.2 miles in a wheelchair but also towed him 2.4 miles in a dinghy while swimming and pedaled him 112 miles in a seat on the handlebars--all in the same day.

Well that's why "Don't post anything dumb without reading/watching everything" rule stands for.

To WindowMkR:
Maybe to show people to care more about disabled people, like his son.Because some poeple don't give a shit about disabled people. (I used the word "people" 4 times...too much)

I love this because the father goes out and shows love and care for his son, even when disabled. My brother is mentally disabled, so this really makes me feel happy on what father is doing.

He's doing it because he loves his son. That should be enough for any good father.

It's a symbolic thing. To show his spiritual strength is what I say.

This is during the Iron Man competition in Hawaii. They take 40% or something of the participants in this one from the winners in the smaller Iron Man competitions around the country, and the rest of the competitors are people who do something like this for a reason. He was obviously chosen because of his complete dedication and love to his son, and that's why I watch the final Iron Man marathon every single year.

He did it to show his love for his son, to show that disabled people all over the world, aren't just specs of dust in a sand storm, he did it so people wouldn't laugh and make fun of disabled people, and how being a father is more then just raising your kid and if he doesn't do something well, to help him any way possible, and I Salute him!

I think that the his heart for his son is stronger then his physical state is. Now that makes a real father. What I would do to have a father like that.

Thats the problem... how do we know if that kid actually enjoys that? Nobody can tell since the kid cant express his feelings. I certainly wouldnt want myself in front of millions of people being flaunted around if I had a disablility. Yes hes a good father but theres something strange about that.
