Hey, I've browsed around through tutorials etc, but can't seem to find a good bullet proof glass tut.
I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to make some bullet proof glass in my map; it should still have the glass look and "crunch" when it is shot at, but no bullets can pass.

To create truly bullet-proof glass, you need to use two 1 inch thick brushes with glass texture on all sides. Each brush must be in its own entity (tested with func_wall and func_breakable) and no empty space can separate the brushes. That's it. So simple it's so easy to miss. You can use any combination of textures on any of the faces and not destroy the bullet-proof property of this configuration. Here is a sample map.

Doesn't work anymore sadly, we've tried many many things on it and I don't think a solution was ever found.

Isn't there a given texture and brush for the bullet proof glass? I know that bulletproof glass can be found on many HL2 levels, and many more CS:S levels (like Prodigy just off the top of my head)

Toolsblockbullets still has to be at least 18 units thick to block bullets. As seen in the link. Prodigy glass to block awp at least 45

I have created bulletproof glass in one of my surf maps. I created a brush textured in unbreakable_glass or something, and made it quite thick. That was for the spawn, so I needed it to be bulletproof.
