Ok tested it, i got 82FPS before and 117 after running the Stress test, so thank you for that. but im getting problems in the ST. The "invisible man" isn't invisible. he is like shaded black. Like asif he has a texture that has 50% transparency that is black.
Also the cameras don't seem to work either.
I didn't use any of the launch options, bit I'll try them out soon.

The one that does so you can't see the "cameras" is cl_drawmonitors 0 change it to 1 if you want it back.
And I know the invisible man is not invisible lol, its one of the commands. don't really know which one.

Necrosis: Yes it will set the game to low... but you can change it, just change mat_picmip and r_lod to 0. That will set Textures and model details to High, just read the explanations, and you can customize it if you want.

Nope, I'm sorry, you have to check that by yourself. Maybe one day I will do like league cfg of it, like one that is CAL legal one ESL legal and so on. But sorry I don't know if this one is legal in CAL.

Hmhmhh I am getting 40 fps with your config, but I get 70 with mine. Let me try yours again

I cant play it right now but after looking at those screenies I think I can see why you would get a 100 fps boost. Basically turns everything to low.

I play on mostly medium settings and get about 70-80 fps in most areas, on 1152x864 windowed. I would like to see some screens of what you got at that size and what it looks like because some of the pics up ther looked to me like they were really jagged.

This however is a very nice cfg that you have and nice work on it, and helping other people to get fps boosts.

It made my CS worse. Loadings take twice as long, and sometimes don't work, and when it does works, my fps stays stuck at 30. Sorry but I'm not using your config.

I just tried it on my laptop, which is perfectly capable of running CS:S on max with a 8600M GT, but this is just to compare.

All settings on low at 1280x800 I got 176 FPS

After using the cfg (without the launch options) still at 1280x800 I got 318 FPS!!! I must say this is an awesome config.

And to you people talking about how it looks worse...no shit? It looks worse? I thought that was the point of a custom config file, to make your graphics look like shit so that you can play it at decent frame rates.

And one more thing, to the guy above talking about mouse acceleration being disabled, take out the launch commands -noforcemspd -noforcemparms -noforcemaccell those disable mouse accell because no one plays with mouse accell, you are the first I've seen that would rather have it on actually.

Well the loading times, it should be like that. Its sv_forcepreload and cl_forcpreload. It will preload the map for better performance..

and yea jacko you understand why you use config!!

Now I gotta wait an hour or so for CS:S to finish downloading so I can test that CFG :D

maybe, but the gaming is smoother? :P Try playing shitty computer giving 50-60 fps, and then playing computer with 300fps, you can see the defference :P
