This is my first map shown on fpsbanana, and my second map i have started. Please do not judge to harshly. I started with a nodraw brushes, so it is relatively optimised. What i have done is i have added the militia_hdr skybox with the appropiate light_environment settings, and shadow control settings. There are buyzones at the start, and there is a bombsite in the middle at the top. The todo list is being a bitch so here is what i will be adding.

-Env_sun for a good looking visibile sun in the sky
-Refinement of brush structure, so i can perfect everything and get it looking exactly how i want
-Possibly texture it, depending on what everyone thinks
-Lots of fancy shit like HDR, radar overlay, advanced bombsite (so everything gets destroyed)
-An overlay with my name on it
-A mountainous 3d skybox, made with terragen. I will make a landscape with terragen then attempt to import it into hammer.
-Possibly play around with env_wind and wires, as rokusho suggested.
-Add some props and shit.
-Consider removing buyzone, and adding weapons everywhere, with an awp at the top, and in the very centre at the bottom, a destructable floor with nades in it.
-Maybe some breakable walls, depends.

The ground looks too repetitive, alternate it. Also, in the interiors use floors. In rest, all good! Keep up!

My Only concern for now, is that it seems way too small for a bomb plant map. You should just scrap that idea and go for fight yard or GunGame.... or both.

Yeah im not sure whether i will turn this into gg or just fy. I added a bombsite for the one reason, if people want to camp in the side bunkers, then someone can plant the bomb and then they cannot camp. Also it speeds the game up, because everyone will have to react quicker if someone plants the bomb.

For me, I like realistic maps, nothing unrealistic like this. But, from the point of view from someone that likes this sort of map, it is an excellent first map, and would be fun to play on. Looks good how it is, but maybe add some props.

Looks very nice so far! But as StrangeModul3 said, you really need to improve those endless open areas. However, be sure to NOT do this by just adding a bunch of stacked crates. I've seen that in WAY too many maps like this.

I don't have a very good knowledge of Hammer, but I think you could improve the central building (and the second piece on top of it) by "routing" the outside edges of the top of the ceilings. I'm not sure how it is described in Hammer, but all I know is from a wood-working point of view (if you have any idea what a wood router does).

If possible, add something a bit more creative for the outer boundaries of the map. A simple tall grey wall is unoriginal. Try something like adding other unaccessable buildings or short walls with fences on parts of the perimeter.

This is all just my input from a fellow gamer and mapper. However, I don't have a very good knowledge of Hammer.

I can see this map going somewhere, but as a rookie mapper myself, I have to say that it has too much open space at what I assume are the spawn points.

Tighten up the extra space (unless you plan to add decorative props like tables and chairs) and maybe, just maybe, this map will be a hit.

This looks pretty fun :D

It looks fast paced, and exciting. Just a few props and this will be a 10/10 map :D
