So the week-end is over and its back to school for me. Anyway I did manage to almost finish the grand building here. I just need to add some props and work on the lighting and its done =)

The idea behind pl_Aurum is to let the player be able to move around more then usual. Could you jump on that roof normally? Well, you can in Aurum.

In latin, Aurum means gold. Because I wanted the same theme and artstyle as pl_Goldrush, I decided that this name fitted. For the architecture and textured used for this map, it uses the most common textures seen in Goldrush. For example, if the wood floor in goldrush used this texture, it will most likely be the same texture in Aurum.
However, I am not copy-pasting buildings for Goldrush. I am simply trying to use the same style as it.

The payload path in Valve's PL map is much worst then Aurum. You can't see this path in-game, but it's much more smoother and runs alot better. The payload cart also have the blue light you can see in Goldrush.

The story behind this map, is simply, that Blue has found out about Red's huge gold facility. For unknown reasons they want to destroy it, badly. They must escort their little bomb through Red's properties. Along the way, they goes through several checkpoints.
Red must stop Blue for successfully destroying their gold storage.

Awesome, I hang around on Tf2maps sometimes but Im so used to FPSB that its really hard for me to find on tf2maps.net. Any link is appriciated.

You've got some serious skills man, definitely as snipergen says, get more involved in tf2maps.net we love seeing fresh talent over there.
Comment on the building: It looks great, it really fits the desert syle however there are one or two places it could improve on. Some of the sloped rooves look very fat, making them thinner would look much better. Add more wires and ropes! Some of the small window props don't quite look like they've been embedded into the wall like they were designed to be. Smoke coming out of those chimneys?
