No draw is an eyesore.. what i like to do and what i think tom is doing is use a texture easy on the eyes, and then use the texture replacement tool to put the nodraws.

I think it will look much better when you get the lighting and that in. Also a easy way to optimize with the nodraw texture is to block in out in the nodraw texture in the first place. Just one of drimps top tips. :D
