This is a map I have done for the last like 6-7 hours. It was made as a kind of 'come back to mapping map.' =D

As you can see its a kind of bunker in some random forest. Then it randomly is some giant storage inside.

Like some of you know I like to make my maps seem like 3d art that is playable. Thats what I have tried to make here. So don't ask WTF!

The layout is made with 4 different ways to each others spawn. Theres 2 on the top and 2 down indoors. Then indoors theres a big room that is the bomb site. Some props in there didn't work and some textures got messed up as you can probably see by the screen of it. But I will be sorting them out for next time.
I also could be adding a 3d skybox.

I know about all that in hammer. You don't need to teach me. But they just don't do it correct. I don't know why.

I know what carving etc is. I used clipping to make that round. Well not the main metal roof but the roof bit. For the hole I used the arch then just made it fit into the square.

I'll make that more round. But that was just how round the ceiling was on the 4th screen.


Excuse me for trying to help, Whether I had made the tut or not i would have showed you.
When I map I get all the alignment sorted out to begin with, especially for WIPS and things of that nature.

And nobody ever said they were trying to teach anybody anything.

Well... I was going to ask if you wanted help with mapping, since you seem to be the only one doing any, but my maps would never be as good as yours. Excellent work!
