A Work In Progress

I’m currently working on this map it will be about has realistic has valve will let me make it the plan is that I will construct a whole town with numerous building and streets.

Custom textures:
I plan on using may custom textures has well has valve default textures in this map I will try to make the custom textures has small has possible so they will take up less space I’m currently looking for some help with this I’m hoping someone might want to texture some buildings later on seems how I have a hard time texturing.

Level Designers:
I’m currently the only one working on the map atix has said he will provide a hospital and help some but I don’t know when or what happened to that. I may need help with the optimization has this map will look has real has humanly possible and my computer can handle anything so I will have no idea what I need to do to help those with less cpu power. If any one is interested in helping by making a building or something I will gladly give your credit for your work by created a custom decal and placing it on the map somewhere and the usual stuff readme…

Custom props and models:
I’m hoping to get some custom props and models into the map for example vending machines and sofas usual stuff. But if anyone has made there own custom furniture and wants to contribute it please let me know it will make my life a lots easier as I want to finish the map as soon as possible. For some reason I cannot decompile models I will post more about this soon. Once again credit will be given

MAP PLOT:
You span in the courtyard of a hotel on the south western part of town to the south and west are cliff walls going high into the sky. The hotel is old and will have a very classic feel. Once you spawn you will have 3 options you may enter the building and make your way to the roof or go into the streets or you may chose to enter the parting lots. From these places you must chose your route. The roof tops will offer more protection then the other routes however the distance you will travel will be far grater and most rooftops will have ground access. The ground will be very straight forward you will have a fast run to the hospital but you have no cover and zombie will most like fully own you with its many obstacles . The third option will be the sewers you will be able to run threw the filth to hospital but remember there will be no reference has to were you are and you will easily get lost.

The important part about this map is that the players get to determine where the want to go unlike all other escape maps out today. Every building will be accessible to some point. Another thing that sets this map apart from all other escape maps is that the players get to chose how they get to there destination and may change there mind and go a different when they want.

Bank (with keypad vault safe room)

Wall mart
Huge cliff for the chopper to fly over.
Dock/Boat yard destination
Many other buildings

This map has been well thought out and I will be posting some screenshots of the first buildings very soon
