Position
Animator

We are in of help in our animaton department. I've played around with faceposer a bunch but still am struggling alot. If you are familiar with faceposer we could use your help. This position is open immediatly and will be filled as soon as we have a competent person to help us. Time is short so don't hesitate!
Mapper

We are in need of a mapper to assist our current mapping team with a large and demanding project. Attention to detail and creativity are a must. Being able to work well as part of a team is necessary. The project we are working on is a video production to be submitted for a competition. We are currently in the planning stages of the project but would like to get our help lined up in advance. Please have available samples of your work ready for review. We hope to begin the project within the next month or two and expect it to last 2 months.
Modeller

We are in need of a modeller who can help us create custom animations and models for an upcoming project. If you have experience in skinning that will also be a plus. The project we are working on is a video production to be submitted for a competition. We are currently in the planning stages of the project but would like to get our help lined up in advance. Please have available samples of your work ready for review. We hope to begin the project within the next month or two and expect it to last 2 months.
Skinner

We are in need of a skinner who can create detailed skins for models. If you can also work with models that is also a plus. The project we are working on is a video production to be submitted for a competition. We are currently in the planning stages of the project but would like to get our help lined up in advance. Please have available samples of your work ready for review. We hope to begin the project within the next month or two and expect it to last 2 months.
SFX Artist/Musician

We are in need of both a Sound Effect/Foley artist and a musician for an upcomming project. The music genre we are looking to use is classical orchestra. The project we are working on is a video production to be submitted for a competition. We are currently in the planning stages of the project but would like to get our help lined up in advance. Please have available samples of your work ready for review. We hope to begin the project within the next month or two and expect it to last 2 months.

Its been a while since I've written one of these but I got enough updates for you. As you might have notice we have been getting some map submissions credited to our studio. If you do have a submission made through our studio please let me know about it so I can give you your points we recieve from it. Update to the Good and Evil project, we are still struggling finding a viable way to animate the scenes. If anyone, and I mean anyone, can help in this let me or Matt know and we'll get moving. We are still experimenting with GMOD using NPC Controller but its not working out as well as we'd hoped. I have put off all my other projects to work solely on this till we get this worked out. If you have a talent such as texturing, spray making, sound effects, or anything that can be submitted to FPSB please take the time to submit them through our studio so we can gain higher studio rank and possible more exposure of all of our stuff as a whole. Thank you all for your continued support in all our works it is much appreciated.

This weekend we plan to begin the new form of animation. I have added a board for discussion on future video ideas for promotions of our servers and forums. Please start to use them. Its a public board so anyone could make suggestions. I've slated the release for episode 1 to be sometime next month, so hopefully our problems with animating will be no more and we will get this out. Thanks again everyone for your continued support.

Well we are advancing in the animation process now. We've decided to drop faceposer and use Garry's Mod for the character animations. If anyone has experience using NPC controller in G-mod contact Matt and we'll get multiple people working on this so we can bust this out really quickly.

August 25th Morning Update

Well its been a week since the last update. Not to much progress is being made about the animations. We are having massive issues with lipsyncing and placing the characters into maps. If anyone wants to learn up a bit, again, feel free to help us try to fix these problems. Updates to our mapping projects. dr_labyrinth is lookin pretty good. I still need to fix like 4 or 5 traps that don't work the way I expect and some I won't know till I get some people into test it with me. If you have any experience with buttons or traps let me know and we'll get you involved. pb_alcatraz_escape is looking good. I have roughly 30% of the layout done, I need to fix my doors and my timer to open the doors. I know Cranks is taking on some help with his "Meet the Mingebag" project, contact him if you'd like to help. Till we fix the animation stuff things have kind of stalled. Matt and I are researching and asking everyone we know on how to fix our issues but seem to be getting no where. Again thanks for the patience so far!

I need some help with animation for episode 1. Any voluneteers let me know. I am pushing back the release of episode 1 for 2 weeks. I have encountered problems with the animation that soultions are coming up short on. If you are pretty good with learning things on the fly please consider helping us out.

I meant to mention Cranks project, Meet the Mingebag. Contact him for details. If I removed you from membership its just cause we need space for people that will be submitting files. Advisors will just have to be watchers so please watch this studio for updates. I will also keep the forum up-to-date with things going on. With yesterdays release of the Show open today I worked on the promo. Haggard recorded it, I have edited it. I just need to program the AI for the video, should get it done today. I think episode 1 will be pushed back a week now. I've ran into some issues with animation. I also could use some more help getting that phase done. Go here to learn how to do the animations . I will probably have several scenes to make up each scene that is scripted. So we won't have conflicting stuff.

On to the dr_labyrinth map. I have fixed my compile issues and will have in-game ss for you soon. Testing will commence soon to test the traps and then we can set it for release.

Well we got the open done. You can check that out on the main page theres a link there to youtube. I have recieved all the voice overs for episode 1. Later on after I sleep I will finish all the editing of it. Animaton will also begin. I am still striving for episode 1 to be released next week. Thank you everyone for all your work!

Well I think I am back after my major restore. I plan to do alot of work tonight. I am gonna edit scene 1 audio and start hardcore animating. You should be able to catch me around on Vent this evening so drop by and keep me company. If anyone can or has talked to TCP, Modgers, or Vicious tell them I need to talk to them. Matt if you can be on tonight to help with animation that would be great. I am really gonna bust my butt tonight to get most of it done so we can meet our deadline. Thanks!
