Horror.
What comes to mind when you hear the word?
“Weapons of mass destruction?” Anthrax? Terrorists?
Wrong, those conditions are reality.
Due to the growing existence of those threats, the horror genre has been failing time after time due to how hard it is to unease someone with a production that is focused around a fiction setting.
I have found myself, that on other popular art communities, it is really hard to get a name if horror is your bag. Noone really ever just browses Macabre/Horror when looking for art.
So that brings why Timeless Agony is being made. Timeless Agony is going to be a art community for fans of the horror genre, and all things that fall into place with them (such as; rock/metal music.) One of the main focuses of the site though will be learning, sharing your knowledge with other members of the site.
Timeless Agony will support sections for most major name design programs. Such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe (Macromedia) Dreamweaver/Flash, Autodesk 3D Studio Max/MAYA, and web programming. Of course, that isn’t set in stone. If a member that is fluent in knowledge of say Vid Editing, or Sound Making (of course, I don’t so I don’t even know what it’s called…) they will be able to share their information with others as well, and if the catergory gets popular enough it can be added into the main section. |
