Here's a little sneak peak at my next little pack I'm putting the final touches on. The sounds in this pack are only for the M249. The only file not originally from CSS is the M249-1 wav. This file is a variation of the minigun sound I used for the recent TF2 pack I released. Credits to Valve for the remaining sounds as they are directly from CSS.

Extract the files to...

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\Your.account@name.here\counter-strike source\cstrike\sound\weapons\m249

Enjoy, or don't. Either way I stiil have many hours to put in before this full CSS pack is released ...

My god man! You have something new on the way? You really should get some sleep from time to time! I like the gunshot sound a lot. It sounded a little mild here, but it fits the weapon well while playing ingame. Can't wait to hear what your working on!

The other files are the default sounds, with some minor updates. The quality was increased and I teaked them to have a full-body sound. The classical sound is one of the many files that will be with the soon to come pack. Its the music from cs_italy I think. I'll have to check it out again to verify. Thanks for the assessments!

The firing sound is pretty good and I like the bullet chain sound, but the rest of the sounds in this pack sound just like defaults.
