Author's Readme/Notes:

The files are included. Just take the 2 folders of v_model and w_model and place it in your models folder found in the materials.

Place the whitelist.cfg in the left4dead folder where the vpk can be found.

edit the vpk file.
find the line with the pumpshotgun

$baseTexture "models\v_models\Weapons\Shotgun/V_Pump_Shotgun_Reference"

and replace Reference with Reference2

Pros: Good idea, weapons should not escape the blood letting and come away looking shiny clean after mowing down 50 zombies.
Cons: Looks more like someone had an accident with a jar of beetroot. Might be a bit annoying having the blood stand out as much as it is while playing the game. It's a shape that distracts the eye and not a good thing when you are surrounded by 150 zombies.
Improvements: Add some form of bump mapping or shadow to the blood. Make it layered - can do this in photoshop by just selecting your layer and giving it a blending option - maybe some form of bevel to make it look more of a splatter rather than just stained metal.
Notes: Would like to see improved versions for the other weapons in some form of pack.

Pros: Good start...
Cons: Weird texture
Blood doesn't look real
Improvements: Improve the texture. Make it more smooth, and maybe add some stuff near the butt of the gun.
Make the blood spattered or something, not solid red spots.
Notes: Good start, this skin has some potential. Just really need to tweak it up a lot. You can do better.

Functionality: It hasn't really changed at all, so no points gained or lost in this category.
Originality: To be bloody honest (no pun intended), its not original at all. The shotgun is all different tones of grey.
Texture: Referring to the Originality portion, I can say the same for the "blood" splotches. The barrel is nothing but this... solid red with a slight darkness. Also, all the screenshots you took... the blood on the grip disappears and reappears in a different place. What happened there? To me, its just a lackluster job this time around.

I know you can do better mate, I know you are probably more capable then this. :/
