Description

Totally revamps the terrain graphics for ST.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky, using techniques of my own invention. Terrain now has realistic, rough surface texture which reacts with the sun-lighting direction, to create a detailed and realistic game experience.

This mod includes :

Realistic terrain texture.

Better detail on Near and Far terrain

Affects Sand/Swamps, Roads/ Asphalt (Tarmac), Dirt/ leafy ground etc.

Installation

Place the RAR file in your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Clear Sky folder

C / Program Files / Deep Silver / S.T.A.L.K.E.R. -Clear Sky

Notes (Read Now ! )

You should ensure you are using at DX9 or DX10 (ie not Static Lighting !)

You should have Sun Shadows Enabled.

It is recommended that you do not play with full grass detail density, so lower it so that you can see the ground.

This mod does not effect framerate !

Compatible with Shadow of Chernobyl !

Playing on it maxed out mostly everything looked great but alot of the ground in agroprom is way to green and i thought the roads and some other things were to bumpy.

Well what can I say this will make my maxed out clear sky look much better. Umm it looks a little too bumpy in certain areas but besides that I love it.

Detail: The texture is very detailed and is not plain and kinda generic like the old one. The texture looks alot more like russian terrain in my opinion. 9/10

Functionality: It does the job and it does it nicely, 9.5/10

Realism: The textures look great. I'd like to see them when in-game myself but I'm on my Dad's laptop right now. 8 because the concrete texture is honetly nothing like concrete... the GSC one is alot better.

Texture: The normal maps are great and work well with the diffuse map. They add to the general merky feel of STALKER. Good work. 9.5/10
