Author's Readme/Notes DOD:S SOVIET ADDON 1.3 Over a year ago was released a Soviet Soldier Pack for DoD:S, which was picked up by various people and then only left into the archives of the forums. The Soviet Addon is a total replacement pack, and now instead of the U.S troops, people can experience the game from eyes of the Soviet Red Army. The majority of custom content has been distributed by various people. The text files have been edited so that they do not show anything related to the United States, they are translated to Soviet Army and such. There's also Finnish subtitles in the pack. New weapons, new player models, a whole new experience!!! Changes from version 1.2 -More bumpmapped textures, such as the soldier uniforms. -The paintings in walls now have famous Soviet art in them -Other little tweaks The Soviet Addon 1.3 includes the following: -Soviet Red Army player models replacing the U.S soldiers. -Soviet capture flags and player icons, and also swastika icons for the Germans. -New menu/victory musics -New Russian yells to the Voice Menu -Soviet guns replacing all the U.S W_ models for guns. -Tokarev SVT-40 replacing M1 Garand -Tokarev TT replacing Colt M1911 -PPSh-40 replacing Thompson -New background menu -Soviet posters on the maps -AND MUCH MUCH MORE! I apologize if the original creators of some of the content in this pack don't like this being in FPSBanana. The "Soviet Soldiers Pack" was from summer 2007, and the creators now unreachable. They are credited as they should, though.
