Author's Readme/Notes I wanted to create a weapon for TF2 which exists in real life, I chose a TEC-9 to replace the weird SMG of the sniper. A big point of this release are also the fixed animations, those were really fucked up for being defaults. Anyways, I added a working shell ejection too. Overall, compiling for TF2 is a pretty horrible job to do, but I didn't quit and worked on it until everything was working the way it should. I edited the skin too to give it a TF2 look, added phong, a buy menu pic 'n shiz. This is amazing! please can you make more of these type of skins for any of the weapons. perhaps a rocket launcher replacement(in this style) is a good idea?

Hey, mdderfreak, is the volder with gun_map and mag_map supposed to be named tec-9 when it's in the weapon folder?

Pros: Easily the best SMG model so far; it fits into TF2's style, graphically and idealistically. Cons: My only beef is that the Intratec TEC-9 wasn't on the market until 1985, whereas TF2 takes place(according to Valve) in 1968. Regardless, this is such a well-done model that I couldn't help but use it. I also don't like the "Gangsta" reputation that this gun has, because that's not really how the Sniper is. These two complaints are entirely minor, and should not stop anyone from downloading this model. Improvements: None stand out; this gun is as close to official Valve quality as I've seen on weapon models here. Notes: Anyone who appreciates a touch of realism in their weapon selection should download this model ASAP.
