Pros: The sleeves look good with the knife blade, and are good inspiration. I also like the green blur on the top of the handle. Cons: The textures are bland- the blade is a simple red with black marks and the handle is a plain black. The model does not really constitute a laser sword and looks more like a spur-of-the-moment idea. Improvements: There are a lot of improvements that could be made in both the texture and the model. First of all, the handle could look sort of metallic. Also, in my opinion the black stains on the blade itself don't contribute to the looks. I suggest a cleaner texture, and I also suggest you brighten it up. As for the model, It looks more like a blocky-kitchen knife than a laser sword. Experiment with models a little bit more before releasing. Notes: Overall it isn't that bad for a first skin. Get to know the programs a little bit more and add some much-needed detail.

I don't know why you would even post this... it doesn't look anything like a knife, or a laser... it's crap... I hope the finished product looks a hell of a lot better... Don't post all your beta's, it's pointless... wait until it's done, and post it once... Also, you've said this has custom animations, which it doesn't... so you should change that

Uh looks weird.. atleast make it a different color or something, or put more effort into it. this is uh, ha, uh pretty bad for a first. sowy.

I'd suggest you try and make it transparent and make a better looking model. Animations are fine because they are the valve ones.
