Author's Readme/Notes

In order to recreate the weapons from Half-Life 1 and its HD pack for the Source engine, I chose SureShots and Twinkes amazing Beretta to replace the default pistol. You can choose out of two animations, altough I suggest you to use Dr. Zoidburgs custom animations - besides being simply better, they're closer to the original HL1 animations.



Features:

  • Choose out of 2 animations

  • High Quality Normal- and Reflection Maps

  • Fixed animation bugs, for example the shell ejection or the muzzleflash

  • Hacked reloading sound - no custom sound scripts have been used

  • Works in all HL2 games, such as HL2DM, Episode One, Episode Two, Lost Coast and their mods

  • Old School. That's always a plus.

Wow, just wow. This skin is awesome, the sounds are convincing and the animations of Dr. Zoidburgs are great too, the handling and the position of the pistol feel authentic.

I have been looking for a Berretta from the Half-Life 1 H.D. pack for ages. It seems that there are a few for the Glock but only your one for the Berretta. You guys thought exactly the same as me! I was hoping someone would try and recreate something from the High Definition pack. Great job!

It's nice that you like it, but it would be even better if your post would contain feedback about your assessment. For example an explanation why you think that the model is only worth a 7.

I have no reload sound, I extracted it correctly because I have the model and firing sound, but no reload. Help?
