Pros: The black barrel and scope. Cons: The wood on the base. Improvements: Change the wood texture. It brings the skin down. As Paul said earlier maybe try rotating it or resizing it. I personally thing the wood texture is a poor choice. You could add some small scratches here and there, but it's not really needed. Notes: Good job with the black barrel and scope. If it had darker would I would download it. I suggest some darker colored wood. It would look a lot better.

Pros: Original layout and basic idea you have going here. Scope is obviousy the best part about this. Cons: The wood looks way overly stretched or it was a really bad choice of texture. The wood grain also doesn't look like it would actually go that direction on a gun (And frankly I've never seen it go that way). The barrel looks like plain base with little to no detail and the scope (Although well done) the details of where things that stick out are are slightly misplaced and miss the model. Improvements: Add scratches and blemishes to the barrel, rotate the wood (Or find a new texture) and do an overall spiff up and you have a winner. Notes: Keep it up.

Firstly, this is a pretty original recolor, I'm digging the wood. For the most part, it looks fairly good. Even though I may like the wood, it isn't suppose to be facing the way it does. Think about it, wood is usually sideways, as it gives more support on the gun, rather than break apart. Nice job so far, but I'd suggest rotating the wood, as I said earlier, about 90 degrees either direction, and you've got yourself a winner.
