The first impression was amazing by me. Then I tried it and was kinda disappointed. I dislike the patterns - stretching makes them blurry and it ruins the whole look, remove them and instead of the patterns add some rusty effect or scratches. The minigun barrel (where the golden strip is) - well.. making there the darker & lighter lines was a good idea and I like how you added the golden strip, even this little detail makes the skin better. But it's BLURRY. And that's what I'm talking about, you should make it in higher resolution. Or maybe just use the "sharp" function? And the front of the drum looks like you've made a gradient and used a motion blur, resulting in a horribly looking "something". My opinion is that you should really remake the world skin in a higher resolution. Also the screw-bolts look weird on the world model. Use this one http://www.sendspace.com/file/y3wv37 , if you want. Feel free to rotate, recolor or whatever you would want to do with them. I recommend to sharpen them, after resizing them. So - what should you really do is: - making the world skin in a higher resolution - don't use any patterns, add scratches or a rust effect instead - sharp some blurry things, either redoing in a higher resolution or just sharping them (depends how it'd look) - drum retexture
