Although it's not strictly true to the beta style, I prefer the Engineer's new sleeve-logo, to the old generic armband logo of the beta skin. First of all, the newer logo is more detailed, and second of all, the skinned-on armband-logos in general are sort of bad in that they get distorted-looking when the character simply moves his arms around. Personally, I suspect that even with the old beta skins, assuming Valve had decided to keep that style mostly intact with the game's final version, those arm-bands were always planned to have a stylized class-specific icon placed inside the circle. At the time of those early promotional screenshots, Valve's skinners just hadn't designed the icons yet, and that's the only true reason early beta screenshots of the engineer, demo, and pyro show only an empty circle on their armband -- at the time, the empty circle was merely a placeholder, not part of the intentional design.

My god i love the beta style skins! i have all of them added so far cept the red team logo(may add it to my game later) great work my friend! keep it up!

I could not include a matching v_hands skin because the texture is shared between both Red and Blue teams. The beta engineer obviously has team-colored gloves. Since there was no way of replicating this, I simply left it as the neutral yellow.
