FPSB's comment levels determine the number of points a member receives with each post, comment or message. Your comment level may rise or fall depending on the quality of your posts. Level changes are performed by admins. User comment levels can be viewed collectively here or individually on each user stats page.

PPC - Points Per Comment

Level 1 - 0 PPC
The member has contributed comments in poor English, uppercase or has spammed, delivered unconstructive feedback, been abusive or has been penalized for other reasons relating to message quality or conduct at an admin's discretion.

Level 2 - 0.5 PPC
Default level.

Level 3 - 2 PPC
Member contributes comments of above average quality. For this level and higher the member exhibits an academic standard of spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure.

Level 4 - 5 PPC
Member has demonstrated a commitment to above average comments.

Level 5 - 10 PPC
Member's comments are of a consistently high standard. Member is well respected by the community for his or her quality comments.

Level 6 - 20 PPC
Member has demonstrated a long term commitment to comments, posts and messages of the highest standard. Member's comments are insightful, informative, interesting and well considered and highly valued by the community.

How long would it take for a mod or yourself to notice if members are being good "commenters" and change thier level, or vise versa

hmm.. i have the same question.. since the site is so big and you admins and mods have so much to do how can this properly works?? ... could it be by some minimum of EFs? .. don't know... can someone answer us?

BTW, i couldn't see the comment level in profile-stats pages..

So thats the comment level i think that it´s totally rigth. but i have a problem, i´m from argentina so it´s a bit difficulty to me to use an
accademic level english but in one year i will graduate in the english institute, i´m in the fifth year :D

Thumb system is a bit odd. I don't really like it that much, I feel no one really pays enough attention to it in the forums, or even anywhere. Any thoughts?
