Happy Valentinte's day from GSC!


GSC were kind enough to give the community TWO completely new screens of a completely NEW area that they had yet to show! These two screens show the desolated streets of the Dead City of Limansk. I, being a Russian, love how authentic it looks, the guard rails on the side of the road, the buildings, the overall structure of the street...it's breath-taking stuff.

I hope you guys like these screens as much as I did.





And more Clear Sky-related news. There is a new preview out on the net for Clear Sky. It contains many new screens, although they are not the best quality. It provides some good insight into the changes that GSC has done since Shadow of Chernobyl.

On another note, THQ have announced that STALKER will be available on a French games-on-demand provider, Metaboli. Most of you may not have heard of Metaboli, but it is one of the largest games providers in Europe.

This provides great publicity for our favorite game, STALKER. And with a prequel soon to be released, this can only be a good thing.

Metaboli provides wonderful service. You can subscribe to legally download any games that it has available, and you can even play while it downloads. The only drawback of the service is that it requires and internet connection to play.

Pierre Forest, content boss at Metaboli, had this to say about the deal:

"This major deal is indicative of the strength that Metaboli has within this market. We are delighted to partner with THQ and look forward to growing the company’s market penetration through new online distribution channels."
