Hey, this is my first foray into mapping and I got a little more complicated than I intended originally. It is a simple take on the Starship Troopers-esque compound holdout map.
Now, you may wonder why I put it into MiP's; the reason is because I thought that it may help people out in simple npc assault maps and understanding how they work. It DOES look a little complicated in Hammer but you can always remove the decals, etc in order to reduce clutter.

ALL FILES INCLUDED! :: VMF, LIN, LOG, VMX, and BSP files included in the zip. So feel free to rape this map for all it's worth, but if you learn anything, a thanks or credit would be nice. Place the VMF, LIN, LOG, and VMX into the sourcesdk_content > hl2 > mapsrc file and the BSP into the hl2 ep2 map folder. Go ingame, open console (~), type map antilion_compound_assault. (I know it's called antilion, spelling error.)

No video, sorry, but you may be able to get a fairly good glimpse of the map from the screens... or you could just download and play.
