This "add blood to your hands in css" thing was done a long time ago but i couldn't be bothered to .rar it and upload it until now. It now has normal and height maps which look pretty spiffy. You will need photoshop. If for some reason you don't have it, download the trial. You will also need the VTF plug-in if you don't already have it.
If the hand skin you're using has normal map:
1.Open v_hands.vtf and blood_layer.psd
2.Window the two files and drag over the layer from blood_layer.psd
a.Leave the effects as they are, do not touch them.
b.If you really want to you could fiddle around with the blending options but the way it is looks best in my opinion.
3.Save as .vtf
4.Open the .vtf that contains the normal map, usually v_hands_normal.vtf and blood_normal.psd
5.Window both the files and drag the top two layers layers from blood_normal.psd over
6.Create an alpha channel and enable the layer labeled "height"
7.With the "height" layer selected Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C then paste it into the alpha channel
8.delete the "height" layer
7.Save as .vtf
9.Success!
If the skin you're using does not have a normal map
get a better skin:
1.Using
VTFEdit Open the .vmt file and add (quotation marks included) "$bumpmap" "models\weapons\v_models\hands\v_hands_normal" inside the curly braces and save.
2.Save blood_normal.psd as v_hands_normal.vtf
3.You win!

Looks better on darker maps like office.
