WTF lol

I work at a retail store (Marshalls) owned by TJX (for you people in the UK, it's the same as TKMaxx)...

A shift before mine, one of the employees named Ray walked into domestics (the department with food and stuff like jewelry boxes) and found shit on the floor...literally....LOL

Someone decided to take a shit on the floor of the domestics department xD

I've been trying to clean up the mirror section of the site (limited to what I can do though since I'm not mod), but I made a plan...I have already helped mirror owners fix their mirrors, increasing the overall bandwidth we have for storing anything from skins to sprays to guis to whatever we have on FPS/RGP/RTS banana.

Here is the plan:

Step 1 ^{Inform the mirror owners}

1. Let the mirror owners know in their profiles that their mirrors aren't working
   
2. Offer help for fixing their mirrors by either pm'ing them or giving them my contact info (xfire or msn)
   
3. Talk to them and walk them through setting up their mirrors (FTP, server paths, logins, etc) (for people who don't know how)
   
4. If they know how to set it up, troubleshoot the issue they are having

STEP 2 ^{Double Task}

Double tasking in the mirrors means reporting mirrors as groups...i.e. taking a group of mirrors in a certain error, and sending out pm's or writing profile messages to each of the owners at one time. Every message I write it unique.


STEP 3 ^{Reduce Overall Broken Mirrors}

My goal is to reduce the broken mirrors by about 30%, or roughly by about 10, but keep in mind that mirrors are added EVERY day and there are BOUND to be mirrors that don't make it, so there is a steady supply of broken mirrors. I have already reported at least 25 mirrors to their owners, and have gotten quite a few responses as "I fixed it, thank you" or "Can you help me?", in which I've helped the mirror owner to the point that they allow me to.

Well, I'm looking for a new job; I already applied at Panera Bread, CVS, and I'm going to apply at Walgreens :) .

I want to get out of the job I have right now lol. It's like working for Nazi's -.- .

The only thing is that I live in a small fishing town, so there aren't that many stores here (just in the shopping square and downtown).

She had major surgery last week....and she just called me and said she got out of the emergency room (I don't live with her...I live with my dad), and I was like "WTF?!" . She got an infection from the surgery and was in pain.

I really want to take care of her now, but my FUCKING work has me scheduled, and they really don't care if she had surgery or not...which is pissing me off.

Sorry about that...I kind of lost it for a little while.

Lol, I got employed at Marshalls, the clothing store in the USA & the UK about 1 month ago, and I'm realizing that TJX, the owner, is just another greedy corporation:

I got in trouble for taking a 14 minute break, instead of a 15 minute break, and my boss threatened to stop scheduling me for work if I don't "fix it".

Another coordinator had the TJX Headquarters call up and threaten the manager because they had to pay her 14 minutes overtime.

Today I visited University of Massachusetts, Lowell Campus and Wentworth Institute of Technology :D

I didn't like UMass Lowell >.<

Although I loved WIT :D

THey offer a really good Computer Science Major, which is what I'm wanting to do, so... :P .

Wentworth isn't as good as the one I visited last week, University of Hartford, but I like it a lot ;D

My site is now back up after a month of downtime >.>

Now we are on a faster server and I'm using the same host (I was helping the owner out for a while), and now I own 25% of the company =D .
