Pros:
Almost everything, the map feels like a perfect remake of the orignal map. The tunnels and Lighting make the map feel alive with the sounds and amibent noises while the lighting and skybox set the mood of the map very well, I was suprised time and time again with what you had done with rooms i remember from 1.3 and done to them to make them compatable with source and its realitic feel.The bridge and church were VERY well done and the map showed alot of though and effort, I am happy to see this map being made to its fullest extent possible
Cons:
only a few things
No water in the river which took out the 1.3 feel though i may be remembering Meridet instead of Sturm
Lighting in the church was alittle off, but not too noticable to were i had to literally look at it 3 times before i found what was wrong with it.
Overall very few Cons
Improvements:
None that i can see except what was listed above but even then its only how you feel the map should look and the final product here is very nice

Ambience:
Wow Where do i begin?? the map had great ambience to it! The door opening on the Terrorist side of the map once you spawn is setting the mood very early in the map while the sounds you encounter are very scary. I Found the women screaming with the chain saw to be one of my scare moments and was able to say WoW! this is great. The mansion feels haunted as you walk the halls and having thoses eyes in the pictures stair down on you while the women is moaning in the background (shudder) is probably one of the best ambience in the entire map and very mood setting
Design:
The design of the map is FLAWLESS, I can tell alot of work must have gone into this map and the Input/Output and triggers works wonderfullly. The doors do feel small but since i havent seen any SAW movies im assuming thats how they look in the movie so im not judging your mapping skills on small size doors. All the props are placed very well and the Needle pit is very cool although the texture could probably have been changed alittle to look more like needs (again having never seen SAW this is judging on the map only) The Meat Grinder and the Furnice were probably the coolest parts of the map in my eyes and reminded me of a James Bond Moment more than a horror movie but it added wonders to the awe of the map even more.
Detail:
Very Keen eye to detail, From the loaded gun door to the safe and Furnice the Traps kept us guessing and jumping at the first sign of noise. the Detail level is very nice and extermanly well done. expecally with that stair case in the mansion and the meat grinding room.
Gameplay:
Since its a large map it well like you said need a longer time on the bombsite to be fair to both teams. As for FPS the meter never went below 40 and the lag was mininal to None. Great use of Clipping and triggers. Lots of amibent sounds too as described above. ALong with the secret room the map has alot of replay value
Looks:
Overall the looks fell true to the theme, its a horror movie and the map is a horror map. You well feel like you are in the movie Even if you havent seen it
again wonderful job on the mapping

Ok i justed tested it and i must say, it wasnt that bad. Having said that there are a few errors i like to point out.
A) The texturing felt all wrong to me and could have been lined up alittle more than it was, the map felt like it was ethier a first map (which you never release)or a rushed job (again which you want to be careful with releasing)
B) the christmas tree textures are missing which presents a giant black/ purle checker pattern right in the middle of the map, Download Pakrat and add those textures into the BSP file.
C) the frozen lake, it didnt look like a lake to me which could have been used better by presenting a glace or ice texture to the map, since i dont know of any transparent ice textures on FPSB that would be a home made job. Again it felt like the lake was a rushed part of the map while in design.
D) Brushes,this is your biggest mistake, Many brushes are colliding with each other providing looks into the skybox or errors poping up in the Console. I would fix this if you want your maps to get better ratings from people. Also your brush work is being used in areas where it isnt needed (the beds) due to props being avaible or not carefully enough (the sink) to where it looks unrealistic.
E) lighting, You need to work on your lights. Having giant lights on the top of the roof isnt working towards ethier the realism factor nor the gameplay factor. Read a few more tutorials on this and keep at it.
Keep working on it. It wasnt horrible just needing to be expanded upon. It probably would do better as a Deathmatch map then a De map to be honest but thats up to you.
