What the hell. u did somehting cause i use it all the time. i dont get how it can delete anything. that program only finds files needed for the map u are trying to pack the files into. ive never herd that happening before. system restore may help. restores ur old files u had before. unless u dont know anything to that then dont mess with it.

Well ill have greevo talk to u i was hoping someone wouldve covered that (greevo) so ill mcheck with him but have u put the materail files in materials folder in cstrike and bsp goes intom maps. dont take anything out of the folder he made if that is what u did. but ya ill ask him to tlak to u

Yes, mine works fine. Make sure you have the -engine ep1 launch option.

Could you give me alink to the prefab in question? Also, there is no need for you to open the vmf in hammer, then copy n paste it to your map. Just place the vmf in SourceSDK>bin>ep1>bin>prefabs, then use the Entity tool while having Prefabs selected from the list, then just select the prefab and place it in your map.
