Been doing 3d art for half-life based games since 1999, If i remember i first worked on CS when it was 1.3 or 1.4 haha... Beta as well!
At the moment i only do Counter-Strike Source modding which includes:
-3d Model Designing from scratch
-Animating models from scratch or modifying existing ones
-Sound Artist for the audio used in the V models
-Material/skin artist for the models
-Compiler and scripter for the qc files
I also look at new ways to distribute my model, to make it easier for the end user to install them. Inspiration came about when i was called around to help people install the models in a boarding house, therefore now all my releases are distributed in self-extracting .exe with 7z compression, 15mb into 4mb goodness.
Apart from my modding history, i'm also a big gamer when it comes to FPS and strategy. I play most other kinds of games as well, and i have been in a few mod groups working on Half-Life total conversions. |
