You didn't read what I said. I told you that I never claimed this was a perfect map, nor did I say it deserved to be number 1 but you keep reiterating the point that it's far from perfect. The map deserves to at least be in the top 5 but you're belittling the map a little too much by constantly confirming that the map isn't that great. I read your feedback, I saw your ratings, you have clearly made your point, so no need to keep explaining it. As for my rating of your map, I apologise and will alter my rating if neccessary (depending on the map). I have this situation all the time as well you know, this isn't the first time. I've had 27x 10/10s for surf_lore and Aid came along with an 8/10 and lore is forever smudged by it. Infact, I've just had a rating of 3.5 by someone called Junior for adverse because "Shotgun surf maps are horrible". It's a never-ending fight, so I want you to be on my side, not theirs.

Let's clear some things up shall we. 1. "I trusted others would pull it down out of the number 1 spot, where it doesn't belong to be." - I have never claimed that it deserves to be number 1 on fpsb rating. I'm glad it is high up in the ranking because I put a lot of work into it, and that should most certainly show in its rating. And in all honesty, I think my map is actually very good considering the amount of detail put into the map. Fpsb however is downright stupid, and even though we do our best to give it such a negative demeanor, it is still the most used website for server owners to download maps on their servers. The highest rated maps are the most ikely to be downloaded, agreed? Therefore I don't like seeing maps like 10xfinal and shitty greatriver remakes getting ahead in rating than a map I have put blood sweat and tears into. How about we let the community as a whole decide its rating rather than what you think it should be? 2. "Whoops, messed up on your rating. Meant to give you a 10/10. GREAT WORK TARGET PRACTICE <>COUGH<>" - We are all mature adults here, and you're old enough not to be acting like you're half your age with comments like this. I honestly thought we were friends yet you decide to post stuff like this? 3. - Ratings on fpsb are difficult to make fair. I really appreciate your critical responses in the feedback section but you seemed to keep changing your rating in order to fit the map into a spot you wished to choose. Having total control over a map is plain dumb, and fpsb is responsible for that, but I didn't expect you to go changing your ratings so that the map isn't highest rated because that suggests to me that you don't like the fact that others enjoy the map. You should leave the rest of the community to decide rather than lower your rating so that other maps can be rated above my map. - We are all in the same boat here, we all want our maps to get played. However, I don't appreciate malicious attacks to have your fellow mappers lose out on a chance for their maps to be played too. It's not good sportsmanship. Let's be fair and let's make the most out of our talents and support each other.

I think you are over estimating the important of the rating scale if a map is good, it will spread, doesn't matter if its rated 1 or 10

Well that's because austin powers is generally better, even though it may look awful the gameplay is better i don't let my rating be influenced by other peoples ratings of other maps
