Download the Visual C++ Redist package from here (unless you installed it already)

And I'm assuming since you jailbroke your iPod with the tethered version, you had to install libusb, right? If not, let me know and I'll get you a link.

Download unofficialsn0w here.

Download the 2.2.1 firmware here

Rename the firmware to OriginalFW.ipsw and place it in unofficialsn0w\IPSW

Run IPSW.bat (it'll take a while to hash the firmware)

Open JB.ipsw (in the IPSW folder) with WinRAR and navigate to Firmware\all_flash\all_flash.n72ap.production\ and delete the LLB file in there and drag the new LLB file that's in the IPSW folder into the archive and let it do it's re-packing.

Put your iPod into DFU mode and run RUNME.exe (make sure it's plugged in first)

Shift+Restore the iPod with the JB.ipsw firmware. Once it's done you should have the real jailbreak on the device.
