I hate programmers who use Notepad. They boast about how awesome they are because they use it, and that if you don't code in it, you're not a real programmer. Well fuck that. I say that if you have better tools, use them. Otherwise, we'd still be building skyscrapers with rocks and hammers, just to say we're more skilled. So you can code a whole website in Notepad, who gives a flying shit? I bet I can code that exact same website with Dreamweaver in 75% less time.
Notepad has no colors, horrible indentation, and no preview function. First, it's so much easier to check errors and the such when you have syntax highlighting. Secondly, when things are indented, it's so much easier to see where different blocks are, enabling you to place your code in the correct place. Lastly, a preview lets you easily catch errors and mishaps, without having to open up the browser.
So, in conclusion, fuck Notepad programmers."
