Borax. Borax is a type of rock. Seeing as most of the environment in this map is rock, the name fits well. As this map from the start focused on cool displacements and just pushing the cart forward, it now focuses in vertical battles, team balance and much more. This map offers some beautiful sights and great fun.

Blu team must escort the cart to the Red's Base. Here, Red have their Rocket, that they plan to destroy BLU HQ with. Fortunately for Blue, red is also dumb enough to have a powerful fan under the rocket, to clear out the farts from The Heavy weapons guy (Not really).

Blu takes this to their advantage, moving the cart to the fan, it blows the cart into the air hitting the rocket. The rocket explodes into pieces and Blue wins!

I have added this map to 2 of the TG custom rotation servers. Just finished playing a 16v16 and i found cap points 2 to 3 where you go through the building to be a HUGE choke point.

Both teams never made it past there.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful. From looking at payback, you've greatly improved, I can't stress that enough! The amount of details in this map is astonishing, and the map runs so smoothly. I foresee the next official community map. The map has inspired me and given me ideas for my map :P

Cons: I haven't found any real cons, which is great considering that this is still in beta, but there are some small things I'd like to point out:

I showed you this before, near the spawn the prop fading is a bit messed up. You are not able to view the pipe crossing until you get closer. Just a small fading problem, easy enough to fix.



A small crack in the displacements near the BLU spawn. It's right across, to the left of where I'm standing in the first image. If you need more clarification, I'll do my best :P

I have a feeling you might not be able to sew it, so just cover it up with a prop, it shouldn't affect it too much.



Prop shadows need to be disabled. You see the first screenshot? In the building to the left, right in front of the entrance.



These props should probably be fixed or removed. This is near the explosion, in a room at the top. There are no backfaces on the models, so they should only be placed against the wall or else it would just look odd.



This is the small side building right near the exit from RED spawn, at the end. Need to raise the displacements a bit



Improvements: Look at cons, that's all that's wrong with this map really.

Notes: I can't really comment on gameplay, as I have yet to play this map on a full sever. Once more people show up on yours, I'll join in and update this.

EDIT: Ok, I've played the map with other people on your server. The map is very fun to play. My only concern is the chokepoint you were talking about. That is a really bad one. My team was stuck there the entire time. Try adding more paths to get out from there. Some underground tunnels.

You even put in the time after the map was made to make this submission look top notch, good work.

I believe that looks like smoothing to me. It's where you go ingame, record a demo and you can then playback the demo and do amazing stuff like that. Then you even use the built in recorder to record it into a very high quality video or use fraps or something. Great people Valve are :D But I still got to try and learn how to use it.

Pros: It's obviously made with a lot of love, everywhere you look there is detail.
The layout is overall quite good, good length also.
In terms of classes it also seems rather balanced, there's a spot for everyone.
The eagle flying overhead is also a nice little extra (I caught myself saying "Hey look an eagle." over voice chat, so it did it's job :D)

Cons: One of the biggest downsides of this map, are the inbetween spawns. They are a bit inconviniently placed. The defenders spawn at the inbetween cap point, and when the cap point is taken over by BLU, the inbetween spawn room also becomes BLU, so often when recently dead players respawn, they are spawned in the midst of battle with mostly RED outside, thus being completely owned. And in the worst case scenario; some REDs will still be in their spawnroom when it changes ownership and you'll have both teams in one spawn room.
While certain classes aren't really favoured in any way, the RED team however seems to be holding all the cards. It seemed nigh impossible for BLU to win.
A minor issue at the water part, is that it's sometimes hard to get up when you fall in the water, this will otfen get you killed.

Improvements: Re-work the spawnrooms to reduce problems. And work on balance.

Notes: All in all a good map, however the server I played in others didn't seem to like it that much. Some REDs were voting to let BLU cap in order to go to the next map (also because it was really really hard for BLU to win.)
This map is not without it's faults, but fun nonetheless.
