My first real map. Don't be too critical please D:

Okay, so I got the idea one day and decided to set out and try to figure out how to make the cart able to be pushed by both teams. Yeah, it's my first map, too. I start out big, lol. Slowly, it formed from something very simple to something almost playable. It took a while but I'm happy with how it's turning out. It's still not done, but I feel it's at a good enough level to let other people see it.


Some things to note:

Scouts only count as one person. Sorry, but the way I made the cart makes it impossible for me to count scouts any other way.

Cappers don't get points. This might be fixable, but not in this release.

Announcer lady says things at weird times. I can't fix this. Not until Valve makes it so you can disable payload announcer sounds.

Lol, yeah. The cubemaps weren't compiled with the first rar I put here. I updated the rar about 2 hours after to fix that problem.

Pros: I like the map idea. Its very nice. You have a good layout going.
Cons: As you said its just a beta i am going to be nice, but i always am any way. :D
1) CUBE MAPS CUBE MAPS CUBE MAPS. the pink squares are cube map problems. These little buggers gave me a pain when i first started. You have to use code to fix them
2) the snipers area on the right of spawn. Its to far away from the main battle. if they are sniping the middle point (i know they cant hit it but anywho) they enemy will have to run all they way back to there spawn to kill them. If they are not snipers.
3) the missiles in spawn. the tip is pinning the player to the wall as they walk by. just move it back about two spaces.
Improvements: 1) move or make a way to kill the snipers den that does not involve running in to spawn.
2) Build cube maps in game *if you need help on how to do that just ask*
3)Theme. Pick a theme every map has one. (not so needed on the beta but some thing to think about later)

Notes: Awesome map. Great job for your first one. Keep going i know it will come out great
