Pros: Pretty much the perfect map. Great for small servers but scales nicely.
Cons: Hard to tell which side the stairs are on as you enter the main atrium (in rush situations) until you're in headshot view of a sniper.
Improvements: Make the powerlines in the skybox more noticeable. That's a cool feature and doesn't get enough love.

Pros: Very well designed. It's just the right size for an arena map. It's not too cramped, either, despite there being a lot of hallways to walk through.
Cons: Not sure if this is a con, but snipers have absolutely no way to do anything on here, at all. Sniper was never the best class on arena, but on here, it's just plain unplayable. I don't think that there is any way you can change that, however, and it's not gonna stop me from playing it on my server either. The only thing that really needs to be changed is the capture time. It's way too fast. If you get on the point and someone is on the outside, there is very little chance that they'll be able to get to the point in time to stop whoever is capping.
Improvements: Increase the cap time by a decent amount.

Lovely

When playing this map I noticed a few words popping into my head, words like superb, brilliant, breathtaking, and above all consistency.

The gameplay is everything you could ask from a great arena map with plenty of different routes yet still having a general flow towards the central control point. The layout is also multi leveled which gels perfectly with the arena gametype and eliminates any linearity.

The atmosphere is well crafted, and the creative clifftop environment really helps this map rise above the rest, literally.

lighting has good contrast and helps to separate the different areas of the map.

I also noticed a fair bit of complex brushwork which shows the amount of time and effort the mapper put into this map, especially on the beams in the central rocket room.

Being a beta I'm gonna go ahead and say that the skybox needs some work. Playing such a big part in the map it's a shame to see it detract from the rest in terms of details. Adding some roads and small buildings could be good, as well as some power pylons leading up to the mountain. This could really help the skybox and level blend flawlessly together.

With a little more work there is nothing stopping this being part of the next valve release, and I hope it will be.
