Description
The map's idea is, that the battle happens on top of rocky pillars, on top of water, which are connected to each other by logs. In the middle of the map, there is a control point, which, however, very rarely gets captured, due to the short rounds that are caused by the openness of the map.
If you fall to the water, you die. Simple as that.
There are also water level routes, which consist of small wooden "bridges". This is a good way to avoid sniper fire, which is a big threat in this map.
The bushes allow snipers to hide in them, and engineers build sentries in a safe location.
In case you push someone to the water after inflicting damage to the player, you will get a "Finished Off" point.
Notes:
- I couldn't get it to drain health slowly, as trigger_hurt doesn't give the finished off bonus, so I had to use a trigger_multiple that takes all the health away at once.
- I suggest server admins to disable the sniper class in this map, as good snipers will most likely dominate.
- The access to the water level routes is near the spawn, you'll see the "Exit" sign.
- There is spawn protection, so you can't just light people on fire with the flare gun before the round even starts.
ALSO! Every class can survive in the map! I've seen good spies getting backstabs and smart engineers having sentries in bushes, throwing people to water from the middle!
No class is useless, even if it seems like so! |
