This map was created by my friend FamousBull He made this map from scratch. It is a remake of orange x but in a different way , a unique way , a forest orange x , so why dont you download it and have fun ? Check otu our server also at 92.48.72.8:27015

Pros: Interesting remake of whitewolf’s orange_x. Trees and added structures give more cover. It’s as simple and functional as the original orange_x. Has a refreshing forest/jungle theme, if one gets tired of orange.

Cons: Snipers have too much power. Lack of displacements on stone textures makes them look fake and unrealistic. Because many of the stone textures repeat, it looks even more unrealistic. Half Life grass, stick to TF2 textures. Player clip brushes were not used correctly, players can go behind the outside walls and walk beside the fence. The water brush used as the river near the tower is taller than the surrounding grass. A bunch of errors in the console stating that many of the props had no collision data, explains why players can walk through trees. One team has a staircase type prop outside their spawn and one doesn’t, leads to team advantages. Some walls still have the orange developer texture on them. Large brush under the playing field is made up of the purple and black “missing texture” texture. Some of the models don’t go with the theme of the map, like the explosive barrels or the animal skull. Glass texture in the spawn isn’t stretched to the size of the brush and looks repetitive.

Improvements: Fix the player clip brushes. Add displacements. Use only TF2 textures. Fix the water brush and remove the large brush underneath the playing field that can be seen with only the purple and black texture on it. Replace all textures that are still orange with the rock one used or anything else to solidify the jungle/forest theme. To prevent all the console errors, setting the “solid” value on the props listed to “not solid” should do the trick (if you wanted to make them collide with other objects, you’d have to make a collision mesh for each model of the props).

Notes: I’d keep working on this one, it has got a lot of potential to be a nice alternative to orange_x.

Looks like you just loaded the map, selectall>rock texture save =( erm, and added some "HL2" grass

The textures certainly make the map more appealing than the original and certainly give the map its own unique touch and style. All in all a nice remake :)
