Valve's Hammer, inspired by http://russos.livejournal.com/210363.html

Block architecture test using reference shots turned into an hl2 map that in turn was converted into a tf2 map. Only the red and blue columns and arches were from reference; everything else was an improvisation on the theme.
ctf_2docks_beta3
Two docks face off in this ctf map. Multiple routes to the intel both above and below water level.

Pros: Great! Even better than before. Stunning view, and very well made details. Water looks clear and smooth, Brushwork looks stunning, and the lighting is very fascinating. All the textures looks placed right.
Cons: No Major Cons.
Improvements: If anything, add more overlays. Signs or posters on the wall easily add the the look. For the water, its looks way better than before, but now that its clear, it looks like everything is flat. First of all, consider adding a lillypad overlay in the corners and other spots of the water. The texture is "overlays/lilly_01a".
Also consider making the underwater ground a displacement ground texture. "nature/blendgroundtograss005" would be a good texture for that. Give it some simple alpha. Then add some nice foilage models. It will make it looks really cool outside of the water and even more when swimming underwater.
Notes: Other than a few minor improvements, Great work. Good luck on future maps.
