Gg_dev_tom_ggn
for lack of a better name lol. A bridge held by multiple supports, with a highly decorated center. Most of it was prefabs i had created. If you want any of the prefabs pm me. Enjoy :).

My points aren't any less valid are they? and yes I did load up the map. For ripe members there is a quick download button where we grab it from FPSB's mirror from the newest maps page without having to go into the map page itself to click a download button and then a mirror. Little arrow next to the names.

Thx, But it was planned like that, and im just curious how you can rate a map on just the screenshots, you did not download? The only person was frank who downloaded and assessed and he didnt even count lol.

The maps got a style to it with the brushwork, almost industrial feeling on the pillars. Brushwork and texture application on that roof section is interesting to see, however texture application elsewhere could use some improvements, unlike normal textures Dev ones are easy to spot backwards textures, such is the case in the first screenshot and a few others. Need to select them and make sure they are going by Face and not by World to appear correctly on certain angles.

Gameplay looks interesting, you have a few levels available and ways to get to them along with a minor amount of cover in the middle sections, however the rest of the map is bare, there is no cover anywhere but the center of the map, even a few blocks here and there with no detail around the sides would improve this. Right now it just seems everyones expected to rush the middle and stay there without using the rest of the map, not everyone does that, lots like to sneak around and come from behind the other team, its why GG has so much Chaos. Perhaps just some flat panels paintball style to give cover in those empty spaces.

There just needs to be something for the empty space.

While I did say the map had a style, its not applied everywhere, the previously mentioned empty spaces. As well as the walls are just a simple design with nothing extra added to them, extruded sections or base/top trimming designs of some kind other than just a different colour piece at the top.

Lighting like the one user mentioned is a bit bland and low for GG, Brighter is better for these players, crank up the environment like by 200 or so. Add in some more lights around the objects, lower lightmap in some areas to make an interesting shadow effect perhaps. Maybe try to match the lighting style to the pillars theme in some way.

Good map all the same, just needs to be fleshed out a bit more in those areas.

Thx, the stairs are 64 jump (crouch and jump) so their difficult but do-able.

Great job. the second floor of the floor is nice motifs. to climb stairs up a little difficult for me :D

Pros: very good layout, brushwork.
Cons: no lighting fixtures, lighting is bland.
