Author's Readme/Notes Dm_TRACE \| map by Pig Popper Some of you have played this over the last few weeks, i have finally finished it now having added some sound and changed a few small details. EXTRACT here - C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\YOUR-USER-NAME Another odd (movement) map, this is for the gliders amongst you. The straff keys are your friends, the doorways have pushes that pelt you up into the corners of this map, time it right and you can speed along the corridors grav gunning weapons as you go. Time it wrong and you end up plastered to the ceiling will someone snipes you form below. The central corridor also pushes upwards and you can glide to the tower and grav gun the rpg if your quick. All weapons are located on the upper sections, the map is scattered with orbs, smgs and magnums and a few shottys, xbows and grenades for good measure. Health is given out at the base of central tower but you spawn fully loaded 100H + 100S. Posted by CanMan12 thanks for the helpful comments, I will consider these points when i update this map. I glad people were able to get thier heads around the movement/gravity, this map can be great fun once you learn how to move.

Lets start with the textures. Some feel very bland and repetative, most of the same textures are used over and over, but I guess it fits the map, seeing as it's symetrical. A little variety is always nice though. As for props. There are none. I'm an avid gravity gun whore, and I like me some props, so it was a big let down when I loaded up the map to see it was bare. I'm sure there are some props you can add in that still fit and don't take up too much space. I like the design of the map. Since it's symetrical, it's well balanced overall, although I can see a lot of players just camping up top. It's also very fun to play with a lot of people. We had a big 12 player game going (Not massive, but pretty good) and it was great fun. A little hard to figure out what was going on with the gravity and all, but we soon overcame that. The ambient sound suited the map well. It made it seem a little more alive then it was if it was just quiet. Good job with that. The brushwork is very simple. Looks like some simple vertex manipulation and carving. There's a lot of brushwork you can do to make the map seem a little more interesting. Overall, a pretty good map. No props and sub-par brushwork take away from it, but it's still very fun to play. 8.9 / 10
