Beta created for a concours but not finished :( for 12 players but I'll make it for 24.

Combine have found a stange energie which should come from a meteor in antartica...

I began this map 12 days ago and this is my first source map..

Yes, it's like metroid :) I know about error and fps falls, this beta was fhinished fast for the end of my contest but I'll make it better in the beta 2.

This is an awesome map for your first in the source engine. Unfortunately I was getting about 11 to 15 FPS in most areas, where as in a map like dm_drift _revised, I get an average of 200-300. There are some textures missing as well(On that big cenral spherical thingy). I was also getting a "Too many vertex types" kind of message over and over.
So what I see is that you are an amazing mapper. Custom elements are nothing new to you,(although you should get packrat and include them all in the BSP. I would suggest that you now begin to practice optimization skills. With the kind of talent you have your next map, (or even the next version of this one!) should be mind blowing. Great start!

Nice use of all the combine textures and props. The brushwork is awesome as well as the lighting. I like all the blue stuff, really gives it a futuristic feel. Good Job, especially for your first Source map.
