I thought of the idea of making just a simple castle to use for fun, but when I was done, it was very empty, boring and very plain. So i got a few prefabs and lightened up the map a bit. Overall this map works a lot better than I though it would. When i was making it I thought it would be too big and have too many open areas, but after the compile and making of the .nav file, it worked really well. There's just enough open space to be able to run around in but also enough structure (such as rocks, trees and boxes) to hide around.

This map is really more for a DM server but I put the bomb zone in there so the map would restart after a certain amount of time if the bomb hasn't been planted to make it easier on most dm servers to play.

The spawns of the both teams are somewhat scattered around the map to make playing in the map a bit more intense.

The map does have buy zones and an easter egg. To get the easter egg, you must jump from the highest point of the castle straight down and you will be teleported to the top of a rock where you can easilly snipe from. I also included buy zones in the map for regular gameplay.

I didn't see anything from greyfrog. The prefabs I used (such as the church and the house place) were provided by the people I have in the description. And about the trees, when I was making the map I thought they would make a lot more filling area and be much wider at the base to hide behind. Although I was wrong about that and when i was done, it didn't look too bad.

and I don't know why nobody hardly ever rates my maps. I've only got 2 maps that are actually ranked.

I don't know what it is about your maps but your first screenshot always seems to grab my attention. And I guess your maps just always end up pertyful. xD I was just surfing and here I find another scarthman map, woot woot.

Okay but yes how about less useless spam from me. This map looks like lots of fun although I won't assess until I have played. Your use of props is nicely done and brushwork is pretty good, as I said already, your first screenshot is amazing. Gameplay doesn't look repetitive at all and it doesn't look as if it should lag (We shall see later however. :) )

Improvements... Hmm..

The half with just trees over and over needs something more to it, it seems to me like you just ran out of ideas and because of that went and created a bunch of trees to fill it. I know I said use of props was excellent and that's what I meant. The prop placement however could be improved to give a more I dunno... Realistic feel. Notice how with trees you have about 20 in one area but then none anywhere else? Well that doesn't usually happen unless it's a forest, but a forest would have more trees and grass. I'm not quite sure what you were going for there but honestly I don't really like it.

Altogether though this map looks really awesome. :D I especially love the interior and the castle (it looks like greyfrog's York Tower tbh, is it or is it your own?) I will assess properly once I try it out, which I don't particularly feel like atm.

*EDIT 2!!* Why does noone ever rate your maps? They're fabulous but they just kinda get abandoned. And btw, good job including more covers in this map, you are improving. :D
