Author's Readme/Notes Please note this map is for the VIP Mod for CS:S UPDATE - 1/9/08 As_Abscond_07v2 uploaded Changes: -Removed brown carpet texture and replaced with cs_office carpet -Removed brown wood wall texture and replaced with cs_office wall -Map is now 35megs compressed vs 37megs SCENARIO BACKGROUND: The CT have come in to escort a VIP to safety after attempts on his life. Unfortunately, after they arrive at the VIP's location the Terrorists have blocked their exit. You must make it back to your vehicles to win the map. GAME PLAY CHANGES: The original version of my map was too biased towards the Terrorist and that was my number one goal to fix when I decided to redo the level. The overall map layout is very similar but there have been a lot of small tweaks and additions to get rid of any flaws in the game play. Things such as; lowering window ledges, opening doors, providing more cover, starting closer to the rescue zone, radar with marked locations, darker environment, and adding another rescue zone have drastically evened out the difference between the two teams. I have also raised the player count to 40 total but I would still suggest you keep it to 32-36 players max. GRAPHICS CHANGES: Besides the game play changes, I went in and re-did a lot of my earlier texture and model work. The level is much prettier this time around with a lot more custom content and foliage to give things a much fuller and realistic look. Overall frame rate should be very similar to the original version as I went through and optimized a lot of my shoddy brush work and vis problems. However, there is a lot of foliage on this level and there are a couple of sections that you can see a LOT of content so your frame rate my dip some if you have an older computer.

Pros: Nice 3d skybox, textures, buildings, and overall feeling. Cons: The layout is chaotic. Maybe this was intended to be so, but people simply dont like it. You can go everywhere, but do not really know where you must. Too much open areas, and ways. And the carpet texture is very irritating :D Improvements: Make the open areas smaller. Maybe move the buildings closer together. And change the carpet texture :) Notes: Its still a good map. It belongs to the very few "good custom map"s.

Love this map shame no ones noticing the top quality these days, only 3 comments and its been on here a few days and tbh this is one of the best maps in a while on here, cmon people stop rating these shite surf maps and rate a quality map, another good map m8 keep it up

Pros: Very good skybox, realistic buildings, and the night time scenario makes this an excellent and well built map. Cons: Argh 36 mb! Improvements: Try to further optimize the more open areas to improve fps a bit more for slower/older computers. Notes: Great map overall. I give it 9/10 due to the fact that it's 36 mb.

Nice looking map, if i had a server this would get into the list of maps, unfortunately i don't (X_X) so i guess ill just try and get the owner of my clan server to get this in, still, very nice map and you gave a perfect description of it, keep it up man
