This map went from design, through 4 betas and 1 RC to this release in 10 days. It's very small, yet detailed enough and plenty of melee fun.

Author's Readme/Notes:

This is a totally "fun" melee only map for TF2. It auto strips non-melee weapons from all players (without using sv_cheats). It's been fully tested including all timers and spawns.

cp_meleebarn is an excellent map to offer players a short break from an exhausted mapcycle. It also helps to vote in when tensions rise on the server between players. The map plays very short... and often has players asking for more.

This is the final release for this version. cp_meleebarn2 is currently in the works with a new barn. Enjoy!

Since the latest patch,this map will crash server,crash occurs on all maps that restrict weapons.

Design: Not many melee maps are fun. This is one of them. The reason why is probably because it's just three squares and not anything unique or fun. The map is small, making it more exclusive to small servers, and it's just not very fun.

One of the most enjoyable melee maps I have played. A lot of thought went into this design and it pays off.

Pros: So fun, especially with ff On
Cons: Maybe fix the hit thru the cords when you're trying to get lifepack.
Notes: Being a part of our mapcycle (1 round/5minutes max) for some time now. It's a very good time after 1h of warpath.

Love the map. It's simple. It's fun. We play it regularly late at night on our focusedgaming.com TF2 server.

I wouldn't mind seeing another version with the odd cap logic removed, though. When we play it with low player counts, it's always over too quickly because people don't understand how NOT to cap the final point.

Overall, love the map though.
