You can't play it without a legal version of Half-Life.
How to get that you say? Download and install Steam somewhere on your computer, and then buy Half-Life. Its very important that you buy it, because otherwise it would be illegal.

*sigh* The same suggestion over and over again. It will never be, it will never happen, live with it. I know, it really sucks, but there are similiar mods being worked on for HL2 though. Search for DistrAction mod in google.
