The settings won't let me change the date. I don't know why. It was supposed to come out this summer, but it keeps getting pushed back.

Heh, there's a debate, the Clone Wars had more to work with, look at Republic Commando, another great example. This looks interesting. Although the wait, wow, you better have some great things in the game, 2015? 7 years of waiting for a mod for hl2? Better be worth it.

Looks really good. Shame it's Clone Wars era though, I much prefer the Galactic Civil War.

From the makers of 'Movie Battles 2' for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and the modification that was recently created under the name 'Star Wars: Source' - both teams now have joined together to build 'Star Wars: The New Era'.

A new era - in which meaning?

The New Era mod will be the first larger Star Wars mod based on a next generation engine that is continuously expanded with new technological features. Using VALVe's Source engine, we intend to create the ultimate Star Wars mod with the most intense atmosphere you experienced so far in Star Wars mods.
